    Day 20 Salisbury and Panto fun.

    Filed under: UK Trip 2017;

    After a wonderful meal last night  and a chance to see Vicki and Ryan’s new house we woke up to the wonderful smell of bacon cooking and came down stairs to a massive cooked breakfast complete with bread pudding- Ian was happy. We then went for a stroll to work it off! We walked into Salisbury and had a look at the cathedral from the outside before walking back and saying good bye to Mia and Ryan.

    The wallk took us along the river and past several different quintessentially English buildings.

    Vicki had organised for us to go to the Panto in Southampton so back to the car and off to Southampton to meet Nanny, Grandad, Michelle and Ashley for lunch before the show.

    Thomas has now been introduced to Panto and the Chuckle brothers his new catch phrase is now ”heelow”. Then it was time to trust the sat nav and punch in the postal code for the Cottage we booked for three nights in Farley, Wiltshire. Through many winding lanes and off road on a single track we decided  to ask for directions and low and behold we were just a hundred yards away. A quick uturn and then stopping to let 17 deer cross the lane in front of us we arrived. A beautiful cottage in Bartley woods with wonderful views out across the rolling fields and  a rather  grumpy couple and of alpacas  in the field.
