    Day 21 Wiltshire Cottage and Historic Bath

    Filed under: UK Trip 2017;

    Today was our first day in the cottage we booked in Wiltshire after a bit of a late start we drove to Bath. Bath is a town set in the rolling countryside of southwest England, known for its natural hot springs and 18th-century Georgian architecture. Honey-coloured Bath stone has been used extensively in the town’s architecture. The museum at the site of the original Roman-era Baths includes The Great Bath, statues and a temple. After a coffee we jumped on a hop on hop off bus to orientate our selves.

    After lunch  we decided to explore the Roman Baths and once again we were really impressed with the museum and could easily have spent an entire day there.

    We were very entertained by a couple of Roman characters lurking in the Baths. The6 challenged Thomas to a game similar to shove hay penny.
