    Day 38 museum and market.

    Filed under: UK Trip 2017;

    We started the day at the Museum of London and could easily have spent the day there if it wasn’t for  the hoards of school children visiting at the same time! The Museum of London documents the history of London from prehistoric to modern times.It is the largest urban history collection in the world, with more than six million objects. It hosts more than one million visitors each year.

    We had a break for coffee and much to Thomas delight my tweet was broadcasted on the screen in front of us.

    We couldn’t cope with the noisy school children so jumped on the tube to get to our next stop,Camden Market. It’s been quite a few years since I last visited Camden Market. The vibe is the same and the massive range of unusual items for sale in the seemingly million stalls and shops is still the same.

    There is multitude of stalls selling everything that you could possibly want, handmade goods, one off gifts, it is wonderful to just wander around. We had some fantastic Chinese food for lunch.

    Suitably refuelled we continued to browse through the market and making a couple of purchasing before heading back down Camden high street taking in the atmosphere and looking at the eclectic shop fronts before heading back to the hotel.
